Apple to unveil iCloud service at Apple conference Monday

Steve Jobs will take a break from medical leave to help introduce Apples new iCloud service at a major industry conference next week. The Apple chief executive and pancreatic cancer survivor has emerged just once since going on leave in January, to unveil the iPad 2 in March.
But on Monday at the annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, Jobs will deliver the keynote address. There he will show off the iCloud system, which Apple is currently coyly referring to as just an upcoming cloud services offering.
Blogosphere pundits are guessing that iCloud will allow users to keep their music on a remote server, making it accessible from a variety of devices. Apple has kept busy recently setting up licensing agreements with the likes of EMI Music, Sony Music and Warner Music.
At the conference, Jobs is also expected to raise the curtain on the newest versions of desktop Mac software Lion and mobile operating system iOS 5, used in the iPhone, iPod and iPad.

Apple App Store, iPhone 4 awarded Guinness World Records

Info: Apple announced to give $10,000 iTunes gift card to the one who would download 10th billion app from app store. Daughter of a UK resident Gail Davis won this after she downloaded a free game called Paper Glider.
As we all know that Apple's App store is a big hit with over 10 billion downloads to date. This is not at all a surprise that Apple's App Store, the iPhone 4 and some iOS games like Angry Birds have been awarded Guinness world records, including the iPhone 4 being named the fastest-selling portable gaming system. Gaz Deaves, Guinness World Records' gaming editor says
The release of the iPhone has not just changed the mobile industry, but the video game world too, With the never-ending App Store selection and an intuitive device, Apple has created a gigantic new space for itself in the casual games genre that literally brings entertainment to users wherever they may be.

No wonder why iPhone 4 has given such importance because it sold 1.5 million handsets on its first day of release 24th June, 2010. And App Store? Well, With over 6.5 billion downloads since its launch in July 2008, the Apple App Store is the most popular downloadable app service in the world and it has reached 1o billion mark.

Talking about the iOS games, Angry Birds has been named as the top paid app in most of the countries. Since it's release in December 2009, Angry Birds was download 6.5 million times from the App store.

Plants vs. Zombies, "with more than 300,000 paid downloads in its first nine days on sale in February 2010" was noted as the world's fastest-selling iPhone/iPod strategy game. The game is also the world's highest-grossing strategy game launch in the history of Apple's App Store, Guinness said, generating about $1 million for developer PopCap in just over a week.

No wonder iOS apps are really interesting and addictive and are downloaded and played all over the world at every age group. Being awarded as Guinness World Record was not surprising.

iPhone Side Switch and Vibrate Problem Fix After iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak

Redsn0w, Pwnage Tool and Sn0wbreeze for iOS 4.3.3 have been updated that will fix side switch vibrate problem on iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS after untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.3.
If you have already jailbroken your iOS 4.3.3, then you can re-jailbreak your device using the same instructions you did before. Guide to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 using Redsn0w can be found here. and guide to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 using Pwnage Tool can be found here. Make sure you uncheck Install Cydia option, and just check any other option to proceed with the jailbreak which includes the fix.
If youre already jailbroken at 4.3.3 (by either redsn0w or custom IPSW), you can install this fix simply by running redsn0w rc16 over your existing jailbreak. Just uncheck the Install Cydia option and check any other options you want. The fix will be installed no matter what youve selected. This is safe for even ultrasn0w unlockers to do (because redsn0w itself wont update your basebandonly an iTunes stock IPSW update/restore will do that).
redsn0w rc16 has a few more improvements: Windows 7 and Vista users should no longer need to set their CPU affinityjust run redsn0w as Administrator in XP compatiblity mode. Also, the verbose boot option for old-bootrom iPhone 3GS has been fixed for 4.3.3 (remember: old-bootrom 3GS users can even have custom bootlogos that show right at power-up). Enjoy!
