Woman gets tattooed on her arm of her 152 Facebook friends

A woman from Netherlands tattooed her right arm with profile pictures of her 152 friends on Facebook. The tattoo design was done by Rotterdam-based tattoo artist, Dehvyathe Xaviera Moelker, also known as Dex. She also posted video of her tattooed arm on Youtube.

The women said "After months of work I want to show you all my social tattoo. Pretty amazing right? Im really proud of it. Hope you like it too!"
It is reported that woman was inspired by Netherlands-based company Pretty Social which prints peoples Facebook friends photos on a range of products, from clocks, bags and IKEA furniture to a Mini Cooper car. Some YouTube users commented on this:
Yeah, it looks cool, but friends aren't forever, especially on Facebook"
What happens when someone deletes you? Do you blacken out their pic on your stupid arm?
I think she knows friends aren't forever and all, but I also think the idea goes a bit deeper than that.

Warning! Stay away from Facebook Dislike Scam Button

Today I saw this around different pages and profiles on Facebook:

If you  ever come across this message, just ignore, hide or mark it as spam, because that's exactly what it is. Facebook officially does not have any dislike button. If you click on Enable Dislike button, it will take you to the page that will ask you to copy and paste some Javascript code into your browser's address bar. If you do so, it will generate some malicious code which can result in lose of your personal information or any damage to your Facebook account. Please stay away from this scam and spread this message as much as you can.

Your Facebook Account Gets more Secure With Login Approvals

Facebook is now offering Login Approvals, that is a new way to make your account more secure from unauthorized access to your account. Login approvals is a Two Factor Authentication system that requires you to enter a code we send to your mobile phone via text message whenever you log into Facebook from a new or unrecognized computer. Once you have entered this security code, youll have the option to save the device to your account so that you dont see this challenge on future logins.
To turn on Login approval on your account, login to your Facebook account, click Account at the right top corner and then go to Account Settings. Click Change next to Account security option. Check the box under Login Approvals and then follow the on-screen instructions to set-up your mobile.

If you ever lose or forget your phone and have login approvals turned on, you will still have the option to authorize your login provided you are accessing your account from a saved device. Having these recognized machines associated with your account prevents lockout and ensures that you can regain access to your profile.

Facebook New Feature: Now tag pages in Facebook photos

Earlier, users were only allowed to tag their friends in their photos. Now Facebook has recently rolled out a new feature that allow users to tag Facebook pages in their photos in the same way they tag their friends. Let's say you have a photo in which you are holding a can of Coke in your hand, and there is a fan page of Coke on Facebook, you can tag that Coke's page inside your photo. Or, for example,  you are wearing Levis' T-shirt in your photo, you can tag fan page of Levis inside that photo.

So what is the moral of the story? Now a brand won't only have millions of likes but also, they will have real photos of real people engaging with their brands. It's not clear what Facebook will permit brands to do with those photos, but given that the social network is currently enabling brands to surface users' Likes to friends in ads, it's possible that it will also allow brands to similarly leverage tagged photos to--as Facebook would put it--help users discover brands they might be interested in, based on their friends' interests.
